The preparation stresses unique techniques that maximize consistency and superior flavor. Expect plate dish design and presentation to be beautiful and appetizing, as we eat with our eyes first. Jeannette and Joerg both exhibit engaging, polite and professional personalities and are fully committed to making your dining experience a memorable event. We were fortunate enough to have Jeannette and Jeorg cater and look after us for five days in a villa in the Vale do Lobo in August 2019. Without question, every meal we enjoyed was of top-end restaurant quality in terms of flavour, presentation and attention to detail. Jeorg was able to effortlessly glide between cuisines and styles and master each one to perfection. The quality of the ingredients used was second to none, often locally sourced and through known and trusted suppliers. The flawless presentation of individual plates and his easy-going table manner articulating the inspiration and methods of each creation was inspiring. His cooking is without question some of the best we have enjoyed in twenty years. For Jeannette too, nothing was too much trouble. Immaculate table settings, impeccable service and a truly professional manner. Her experience shone through in her interaction with us all; always anticipating and thinking ahead, ensuring everything ran faultlessly. We were sad to say goodbye but left with wonderful memories of some extraordinarily talented cooking and hosting. Impossible to fault, they come highly recommended.

A Symphony of Flavours
There are few chefs who manage to surprise your palate every day for three consecutive weeks, and who take you on a culinary journey in the way Jörg does. Every dish is cooked to perfection, beautifully plated and deliciously flavoured. Like an extraordinarily gifted composer would seek inspiration afar, Jörgs’ cooking transcends continents. He adds his own interpretation of even the most classic dish, dazzling us as he presented familiar dishes in a new light. To say that it was a magical experience would not do it justice. None of it would have been possible however without the fabulous service provided by Jeanette. Her tables are beautiful decorated, and her attention to detail and focus on ensuring her clients are well taken care of, is second to none.
Finally, both managed to engage my young children every day - my kids were delighted to learn how to make breaded chicken, fresh fish fingers, NY cheesecake and even learned how to fold napkins. They will return home having expanded their understanding of flavours and cooking.

We had the distinct pleasure of enjoying Jeannette's team and their catering. They are creative, customer focused, able to accommodate tastes and dietary needs across a wide spectrum. One night they prepared a special tasting menu that was comparable to Michelin star experiences we had in taste, presentation, and originality. All of this and genuinely nice people who take pride in their work and set the highest standards. We will definitely hire the algarvegourmet team again.
